Hall of Warriors

Systema Delenda Est

Hall of Warriors is invoked as a recognized institutional point of reference in discussions of power and rank. Its importance in the available material lies less in any recorded action than in the authority its name carries: having encountered Platinums there is treated as firsthand evidence of what that rank can and cannot accomplish.

Reputation and Function

Hall of Warriors functions as a place where powerful individuals can be encountered and assessed. Orek appeals to his own experience there, reminding Koret that both of them have met Platinums at Hall of Warriors. The reference turns an abstract argument about rank into shared experience, giving the speakers a common standard against which to measure the mysterious figures they are considering.

Place in the Rank Hierarchy

The institution helps establish the limits of Platinum power. Orek acknowledges that Platinums are unquestionably powerful, but insists that they do not surpass fundamental limits until reaching Bismuth. This distinction makes Hall of Warriors part of the narrative’s informal geography of expertise: it is associated with genuine high-level strength, while also demonstrating that even impressive fighters remain far below the rarest ranks.

Narrative Significance

Hall of Warriors supplies social and experiential capital in a conversation otherwise dominated by speculation. Koret wonders whether the figures under discussion might be connected to the core worlds and perhaps even be Azoths; Orek counters with what he has seen at Hall of Warriors, and Harik adds that he has heard of only two Urivans ever reaching Azoth. The venue therefore anchors the speakers’ uncertainty in a remembered hierarchy. It represents the boundary of what people at their level can personally know: Platinums are visible and testable, while Bismuths and especially Azoths belong to increasingly distant circles.
